public philosophy

In January 2019, I set up the Open Philosophy Network (OPN) in Brussels, Belgium, to provide a platform to explore philosophical issues in a non-academic, open setting.

The aim was to focus on philosophical issues related to emerging technologies and bring together a broad and diverse group of people to discuss them.

In addition to bringing philosophers to a number of tech events such as Open Belgium and Hack Belgium, I organised a reading group on Shoshana Zuboff’s book, The Age of Surveillance Capitalism (you can find crowdsourced summaries of every chapter of the book here).

For more information about the OPN, check out its website.
